Ricardo Ponce is a marine biologist from Mexico City, his main focus is in marine mammals and the interactions that they have with humans. He’s been in the conservation and activist world for several years focused on endangered species and the threats they are facing. Elven Villecourt is a Mexican-based French activist/filmmaker interested in and passionate about making a difference through visual arts and other artistic forms. They met three years ago on the Sea Shepherd’s El Milagro campaign for vaquita conservation.
