Take a trip to ’66 Sunset Strip as dublab steps into the wayback machine and revisits 1960s Hollywood nightclubs like The Trip, Hullabaloo, Whisky a Go Go and Pandora’s Box.
Let’s take a ride through the Greater Los Angeles area and hit all the clubs… in one night! Hosted live by Domenic Priore from belly dancing venue The Seventh Veil, Sunset Blvd.

Batman shows you the forthcoming “Fabulous” Forum, Inglewood (open, 1968)

This is the Capitol Records acetate of the original 1964 mix of “The Beatles Live at The Hollywood Bowl,” an unreleased album slated for 1965 in the United States only… that was the original idea. “You Can’t Do That” as heard on this show is from that original mix, the authentic ’60s item. In 1977 Capitol Records released a “Hollywood Bowl” album, but the mix is tamer, and includes stuff mostly from their 1965 show, where as the original album was a document of their entire ’64 Bowl concert. (“You Can’t Do That” is not on the officially-released thing from ’77). It should be mentioned that The Beatles’ playing on their ’64 tour was … much tighter.
