PELLYVISION is a monthly cohesion of sound and vision. Each episode features a musical performance and/or dj set from a different artist, which Alex Pelly visually accompanies by synthesizing live audio reactive video using a modular synthesizer and other analog technology.

Sobbing Honey – LA’s Mike Meanstreetz and Grant Capes stack and layer slabs of noise, tape manipulation, synths and broken beats and then set about toppling them again. A constant breathing pulse of construction and destruction amidst hallowed howls and skittering slaps.

Alex Pelly is a video artist who came up through the dublab community and has been rooted in the Los Angeles video art community for over a decade. Utilizing multiple generations of video technology, both analog and digital, Pelly creates multi-sensory experiences centered on visceral colors, shapes and sounds in motion. Frequently collaborative with musical accompaniment, her visuals serve as a reflection of and muse to the music simultaneously.
