PELLYVISION is a monthly cohesion of sound and vision. Each episode features a musical performance and/or dj set from a different artist, which Alex Pelly visually accompanies by synthesizing live audio reactive video using a modular synthesizer and other analog technology.

DUBLAB director, Ale Cohen will be playing unreleased music from upcoming releases on his Simballrec imprint. Since the mid 90s Simballrec has been releasing music, at the beginning as a vehicle for Ale’s band Languis, but over the course of the years, Simballrec took a life of its own with a wide roster of artists.

Alex Pelly is a video artist who came up through the dublab community and has been rooted in the Los Angeles video art community for over a decade. Utilizing multiple generations of video technology, both analog and digital, Pelly creates multi-sensory experiences centered on visceral colors, shapes and sounds in motion. Frequently collaborative with musical accompaniment, her visuals serve as a reflection of and muse to the music simultaneously.
