Soltera, the experimental dance music project hailing from Los Angeles, is the creation of Colombian American artist Tania Ordoñez. Drawing inspiration from the San Fernando Valley where backyard shows became the canvas for her artistic evolution, Soltera embarked on her solo musical journey in 2018. Ingeniously crafting her sonic tapestry using borrowed synthesizers and drum machines, Ordoñez seamlessly blends elements of techno and house with a punk ethos. Ordoñez is also a filmmaker, DJ and co-runs underground LA based collective, CASA/TECA.
