Cafe Lounge is Keenen Dillon, Phoenix based producer, dj, and friend. Its his last time on this earth, and he’s damn sure about how he wants to spend it. Creating, curating, and collaborating, delivering the heat and applying just the right amount of pressure for a five star auditory meal. Beginning in 2016, Keenen started making music under the name K – Dillz – pollinating soundcloud with the internet’s first taste of cafe. Once the floodgates were open, there started a seemingly unending stream of beatmaking, rapping, and djing, creating and curating and barely stopping to take a breath. Around 2016 Keenen began working with Ryan Wick of IDS recordings, leading to the birth of the first Cafe project, Cafe Lounge. As a result of this partnership, a series of releases followed such as Cafe Water and Closet Laundry. During this period, he also released “This is a Hip Hop Tape” – with Grandfather. (2092 Funk Radio) under the name Poison Ivy Peach Trees. In 2019, he started a new project called cafemadrid, a project in collaboration with Michael Madrid (James World) – a dizzying experimental electronic noise tape. He’s covered a lot of ground, but right now the lounge is back. Cafe Lounge is in the house.
