In honor of dublab’s May Membership drive, Maral dives into her old collection of Animal Collective live bootlegs and creates a mix exploring their live sets from 2004 – 2010. Maral’s own music making was greatly influenced by seeing Animal Collective live and how they created transitions and new versions of their music based on what style they were exploring at the time. Maral will be supporting Avey Tare from Animal Collective next week in San Diego (5/10) and Los Angeles (5/13). Tune in for some interesting and inspiring jams!
