In this installment of Library of Sounds we will listen to two live performances by Ustaad Rashid Khan. Ustaad was one of the torchbearers of Indian Classical. His talent, ability, skill were beyond measure. We sadly lost him on January 9th, 2024 at the age of 57. His passing was a shock that reverberated throughout India, throughout the world, leaving a void in the hearts of lovers of Indian Classical. Presented in this episode: Raag Malkauns and Raag Puriya.
