Lady Jane Bongo - guest session

Are u high on life? Enter: Serenity Rave. Where electric dreams become reality. Where trance, breakbeats, techno, jungle, and acid lull you into a kandy-koated euphoria. A psychedelic oblivion where consciousness comes to turn on and tune out. Because it’s 3am somewhere.

Hosted by RAVEDAD, co-founder of 90’s after-hours Serenity Rave. Maggie Baron aka Mae B is an LA-based DJ, music supervisor, and songwriter inspired by rave culture, synthesizers, and the Spawn movie soundtrack.

On this month’s episode, RAVEDAD is joined by special guest Paul Maxwell.

Multidisciplinary artist, producer, and founder of 678 Records. From Atlanta, GA, currently based in Los Angeles, CA. He has been writing, producing songs, and DJing from a young age which steadily let him to become an instrumental player in both of those underground music scenes. Paul has worked with artists from Awful Records like Father, and fellow Atlanta natives Coco and Clair Clair, along with LA artists Kumo 99, Suicideyear, La Favi, and Goon des Garcons.

For his solo project, Paul’s music is heavily influenced by Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flam while working with references from 2000’s nostalgia, surreality and the internet – exploring the space between these & pushing the sounds always sonically forward.

For Paul, he just wants to make music to live to.
