Let’s take a tour of the Metabolic Studio! This week we feature a tour of Un-development 2 at Metabolic Studios with Lauren Bon, Diego Zapata and Maru Garcia. Un-development 2 is a warehouse in the process of transformation, a laboratory for bioremediation that uses native plants to remove toxins from the soil underneath the concrete floor. Metabolic Studios has been offering tours of Un-development 2, an immersive experience exploring the art and science of un-development, in-depth history of the surrounding neighborhood and a series of mapping explorations to inspire tour participants to think expansively about how to integrate un-development into their own lives and projects.
