100 Mules Walking the Los Angeles Aqueduct. 100 years after the opening of the LA Aqueduct, Lauren Bon and Metabolic Studio commemorated the time with a month-long, 250-mile journey from the East Sierras to the L.A. Equestrian Center in Burbank, paying homage to the quiet dignity of the mule and the patient pace of its progress. Along with the sounds of the mules walking, you’ll hear Olivia Chumachero leaning over the grate that covers the Aqueduct and singing to the water.
