With this recording we share the sounds of Tropical Storm Hilary from August 2023– the wind “playing” the one hundred 3′-8’ tall flute pipes installed at the Silo in Payahunaduü, the torrential rain and turbulent Los Angeles river, along with on-site interviews with people working on the construction of Bending the River, and sounds of the rebuilding required in the storm’s aftermath.
