We are deeply entranced by our friend Julia Holter and the vibrant Human Ear Music collective that she’s a central part of. She brought some of these creative friends along for a live sound experiment on “Future Roots Radio.” Voice, harmonium, accordion, saxophone and grand piano were all channeled into a main mixing board controlled and dubbed by Jason Grier. During the broadcast, the band wasn’t hearing the final output in the studio. The finely mixed and processed signal was conjured solely for the radio listeners.
