Please join us for a 6 hour broadcast featuring guest DJs galore from 4-10pm. With the exception of two, all of these music selectors have been guests on “Version Sounds” before and have some longtime connection and friendship with Hoseh.

Starting in January of 1994 at KXLU 88.9FM based out of Loyola Marymount, Hoseh began a 2-6am “rock” show that covered many genres and many eras. Three months later he began broadcasting a show called “Headspace” focused on experimental electronics, ambient music, and techno of all sorts. This show lasted for nearly 22 years and hosted many internationally recognized artists and DJs as well as local bedroom DJs and producers.

Five years later, in 1999, Mark “Frosty” McNeill contacted Hoseh to host a daily 3 hour show on a new startup station to be called dublab.com. On Mondays-Thursdays, 8-11am, Hoseh hosted a show originally called “Remote Sequence” that eventually evolved into “Version Sounds” Since 2005, Hoseh has hosted this show on a weekly basis exploring the connection between the past, present and future of the music we listen to. With occasional guest DJs and live performances, Hoseh continues to seek the sounds that keep us all connected whether they be a familiar tune or a song never heard on the radio waves regardless of genre or era. This may or may not be his 600th dublab show (most likely more due to unarchived material), but after 30 years it continues to be an honor and pleasure to select and share music with the city of Los Angeles and beyond through the mighty dublab.com.
