DJ Lady C, aka Christina Gubala, is a DJ and a writer who lives in Pasadena, CA. Since starting with college radio at UCLA, she has hosted programs on KCHUNG AM 1630, Pitchfork Radio LA, and dublab, where she recently celebrated 10 years on the air and currently hosts a laid-back show called Rare Air. She has provided guest DJ sets on Rinse FM in London, KXLU 88.9 FM in LA, and Deep House Tehran, and has written extensively for LA Record. Lady C’s live DJ residencies have included Caña Rum Bar, The Los Angeles Athletic Club, Compound Long Beach, Townhouse Venice, and the Grand Star Jazz Club. Recently, she DJed the Oscars at the Academy Museum, and provided a live set for the world-record-breaking largest aqua-aerobics class in recorded history. She is an Atlanta native, a Russell Westbrook fan, and a cat person.
