This month’s episode of Cloud Music dives into several compilations of the past two decades – from 4AD label samplers, to a mid-aughts compilation of twee lullaby renditions of 80’s hits.

Notably featured are several tracks from a charity compilation entitled Seize The Means of Reproduction, newly released on March 11, 2025. As follows is a write-up from Bandcamp’s in-house journalist, Zoe Camp:

Artists across the experimental, ambient, and industrial spheres have rallied together in support of reproductive rights with an excellent new compilation, Seize The Means Of Reproduction. Assembled by LA dark-synth ritualist Thief, the lineup is a who’s-who of left-field electronic music: Alex Kent (Sprain/Shearling), body / negative, Chasms, Drowse, hand model, proqxis, Wilshire Corridor (Dmigor, Dusk Shrine), and more. They’ll be donating all proceeds to Reproductive Freedom for All, a USA-based nonprofit that lobbies and advocates for reproductive rights, parental leave, and protections against pregnancy discrimination, among other causes. “There are innumerable issues menacing the world right now that need our attention,” the artists said in a collective statement. “For this release, we aim our sights at reproductive rights and present the opportunity to all of you to not only help but also get some sick music in the process.”
