Coming from Pasadena, California, Julio Mejia is celebrating his 10th year of DJ’ing the best of techno, house, and everything in between. Julio shares this passion with everyone by hosting Deep Hour, a radio show that he hosts twice per month on kchungradio.org. Deep Hour showcases the best local and international techno and house DJ’s and broadcasts good vibes to all who listen.

Julio spent over half of his life composing and performing in Pasadena area bars and coffee shops as an independent singer-songwriter and performing in rock bands. This led to a love of dance music, especially techno, house, and anything with a unique melody and groovy bassline. His introduction to the DJ scene began in 2014 with a successful set at Make Music Pasadena. This led to a residency at Factory Sounds, a party Julio started that displayed sounds tailor-made for the dance floor combined with his burning passion for music.
