Treasure Teeth live their lives the same way they approach art: always seeking fresh, immersive experiences. In the first two years of it’s existence, the married duo of James and Barbara have been based out of London, Florida, and New York City, with no plans on permanently settling any time soon. The musique concrète R&B of their new EP “Sell Your Gold” samples snare hits and bass lines from artists such as Prince, Peter Gabriel, and Supertramp, as well as home-recorded sources, such as the sound of leaves and barbeque grills. “Sell Your Gold” is out now via True Nature on vinyl and digital, while “Drive Me” is from an upcoming split tape with Nick Klein, and is exclusive to our dublab mp3 blog.
