RINGO DEATHSTARR “VISION VERSION” – A COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE AUSTIN SCHOOL OF FILM & DUBLAB
WATCH ON VIMEO
RINGO DEATHSTARR
“Vision Version”
LIVE IN:
Austin, Texas
DIRECTED BY:
The students of the Austin School of Film
The great folks at the Austin School of Film brought dublab out to Texas to explore some film fun. They set up a workshop where we be helped their enthusiastic students shoot a live VisionVersion film with an awesome local band called Ringo Deathstarr.
We got together on the overgrown grounds of a sprawling ranch (and possible ancient burial ground ), where rumor has it Willie Nelson used to jam out during BBQ’s, and filmed Ringo Deathstarr playing their song “Summertime.” The tune was totally fitting for the bright day. The cicadas sang along and we had a blast soaking in the splendor of sun and sound.
