This session was the sweet finale of dublab’s Spring 2010 Open Wide Proton Drive fundraiser and capped off our “24 Hour No Sleep Session.” At the tail end of this marathon broadcast our minds were pure fuzz but once these masters started playing our weariness melted into bliss. As Miguel Atwood-Ferguson (viola), Gabe Noel (bass) and Peter Jacobson fused into shimmering, improvised unison the city awoke around us. The street started to rumble and hum but deep in our inner dublab sanctum all was vibrating from the sensuous serenity of these strings. Like sun rays sparkling over a silver river the music created by this trio flowed with total warmth. We hope you love these wide open waves as much as we do.
