MELON EXPANDER RECORDS PRESENTS: WARNER JEPSON / POINTS OF FRICTION
BUGS AT LARGE is from a 2xCD release that dusts off the electronic music of Warner Jepson. “Totentanz &
other electronic works 1958-1973″ (Melon Expander) combines his rare sole LP from ’71 plus many works
heard only ephemerally at art parties, “happenings”, and as soundtracks for theatre productions. This
particular track uses Buchla 100 series synthesizer and magnetic tape and was recorded in ’67 at the San
Francisco Tape Music Center.
