  • 12:00pm – 2:00pm Mr. Twin Sister guest hosting – Analogue Players Club

    After growing up together on Long Island, Mr Twin Sister formed in 2008 under the name Twin Sister, releasing two EPs – Vampires with Dreaming Kids in 2008, and Color Your Life in 2010 – to significant critical acclaim. The band signed to Domino Records for their debut LP In Heaven (2011), and in 2012 their song “Meet the Frownies” was sampled by Kendrick Lamar and Dr Dre on “The Recipe”. In 2013 lead singer Andrea Estella was cast in the Veronica Mars movie, with two songs by the band featured on the soundtrack. Having left Domino and changed their name to Mr Twin Sister, the band self-released Mr Twin Sister in 2014, recognized as one of the best albums of the year by Pitchfork, Gorilla vs Bear, New York Magazine, Time Magazine, Huffington Post, and many others.

  • 6:00pm – 8:00pm Little Boots & Tottie Moore – w/ Guests Kim Anh + John Bryars – A Little Moore

    Its the fall membership drive this month, and what better way to bring this month’s A Little Moore show in than with not one but two LA based DJs and queens of the night, Kim Anh & John Bryars.

    Dubbed by THUMP as LA’s Club Queen, Kim Anh is a globally recognized DJ and producer. She’s remixed for platinum artist and has released her own tracks by some of the worlds most recognized underground labels.

    Kim Anh began organizing parties back in 2008, with an aim to creating a space for people to party and experience new genres of music away from the confines of the traditional “Hollywood” nightlife. Booby Trap!.  started in LA and later went to NYC, and was supported by  DFA Records, Opening Ceremony and Guest of a Guest who described Booby Trap! as “one of the best party vibes ever witnessed”. She ignited a new era in queer nightlight for women, where anything went and was championed. Flaunt Magazine attributed the nightclub’s success to its “churning dance floor.”

    Kim hosts a bi monthly party called  Yowsah, at Ace Hotel downtown Los Angeles (1st and 3rd Saturday) every 1st and 3rd Saturday, the LA Weekly described the party as “a 3-year-old rager”.  Her most recent and newest party Tendencies, which goes into the late night world, has hosted some of the world’s top DJs and producers, including Todd Edwards, Maya Jane Coles and Derrick Carter. Described as “a safe space,” Tendencies serves to create diversity in LA’s underground nightlife by supporting underrepresented communities in music.

















    John started playing piano at the age of nine and soon after playing drums. He started DJing Vinyl at the end of high school in southern California. John drew inspiration through Berlin techno and bands such as Sonic Youth and Blonde Redhead.

    He joined Tenderlions in 2007, focusing on mixing live electronic and acoustic elements. Releasing an EP as well as singles/remixes. They had the pleasure of performing with the likes of The Prodigy, 2manydjs, Simian Mobile Disco, The Strokes and the Presets, they played at venues such as the Warfield and Shoreline Amphitheater as well as various festivals throughout the US.

    John is currently based in Los Angeles. His sound is eclectic, the interplay of light and dark; the way both play together to create a cohesive sound. He has DJ’ed alongside Honeysoundsystem, Dixon, Maya Jane Coles, Thomas Von Party to name a few.

    A Little Moore is made up of British DJs Victoria aka Little Boots and Lottie Moore. Following a decade in London and Barcelona respectively, torn apart by Brexit the pair decided to relocate to sunny Los Angeles and seek their fortune. As Little Boots, Victoria has released 3 critically acclaimed albums and toured the world both as a live act and a DJ, performing everywhere from Coachella to Ibiza. She is also a Grammy nominated songwriter and runs the alternative pop label On Repeat Records. Lottie, better known behind the decks as Tottie, co-founded the highly successful Track Family weekly radio show on Barcelona City FM, and has spent the last 6 years DJing Barcelona’s hippest parties and events. She recently created a special show for Sonar Festival focusing on pioneering female creative talent, a theme both are passionate about. Together, the pair’s musical taste is upbeat and eclectic, and their sense of fun is infectious. Expect a selection of disco, house and balearic beats from both across the pond and closer to their new home, plus exclusive tracks and mixes from friends, some very special guests and tip top chat. Tune in to get your Friday night started and follow the girls’ journey as they navigate life in LA and everything that comes with it.

    Once again, bringin’ that Boom Bap from Berlin, it’s the one and only, party hard rocker, DJ MARC HYPE.

    His career spans almost 30 years, building the bridge between beats from the funkier side of town, to the hiphop beats borne outta the streets. Along the way, this bonafide turntablist has won the German ITC Championships twice, a skill which he carries with him pummeling clubland along the way. Nowadays he’s travelling the world with his 45’s bag as part of the Berlin/London/Hamburg based Dusty Donuts crew & label, as well as a member of the UK based international 45 Live DJ circle. He’s spreading ‘The Word’ of Hip Hop Culture and Crate Digging, one lil’ 45 at a time!

    Daniel Troberg lives and breathes electronic music. Started dabbling with home computers in the 80s and discovering DJing, music production started soon there after. Being charted by such luminaries as Cari Lekebusch, DJ Rok, Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, Richie Hawtin and a slew of others, Daniels production has also taken him DJing alongside people like John Tejada, Dan Bell, Claude Young, Juan Atkins, Arthur Baker to name a few. Daniel has been involved in electronic music instrument manufacturer Elektron Music Machines since 1999 and today he runs the US division of Elektron in Los Angeles, CA.
