What happens when the people hear the Piper piping his mystic tune? They drop everything they had once held dear, shed their former skins and follow him to the ends of the Earth. Yes, but what happens when they arrive at the end? Is there an answer shining in neon? No, they start right back over again because it’s all a circle. They tread the same ground again and again all the while hearing the song layered louder. Rotation after rotation of this ritual continues and the Piper’s tune becomes twisted in feedback. The more the people spin around searching for their destiny the louder the fuzz and distortion becomes. This is the chaos of life laid bare and when the crescendo hits we realize it’s not the piper playing at all.
