When the mascara runs like mud down your trembling cheeks all you want is a really sad song to blow it into oblivion. Diva has come to the rescue in wide, reckless swerves from around the dark bend. Her headlights cut the air like beacons honing in on your patch of pavement but as the car approaches you shake your head for clarity. You’re not sure if it’s your wet lashes or the fog, but the lights look less like a car. They slowly start to rise and soon are above, pulling you in, otherworldly tractor beams collecting your teary eyes and all the rest.

Diva’s new album Moon Moods is out now on Critical Heights. Leaving Records have released a limited edition cassette version of the album with custom Yialmelic symbols imprinted on the tapes.
