Cousin Mouth is an alternative RnB group lead by songwriter and producer, Alex Burns. His body of work draws on many influences from his years making music in Detroit, as well as the folk, spiritual, and songwriter traditions he grew up with. His most recent projects focus on love and its grey areas and the pursuit of life and joy on earth in its current state.

I’m extremely excited to debut my forthcoming album, Prince of Dogs, in this mix. This is the first time I’ve shared it in its entirety publicly, along with some of the music that helped inspire it. The album itself is a reflection on honesty and accountability and how they manifest in the ups in downs of our relationships. Think of this as a listening party - please enjoy.
