Rene Contreras has been booking shows since he was fourteen years old in Pomona, CA. Promoting concerts in backyards all over the Inland Empire, he slowly gravitated towards Mediterranean restaurants, bbq and pizza places, booking lineups full of metal, hardcore, punk and garage rock. With the help of The Glass House in Pomona, he started a Viva! Pomona, a two-day festival featuring over 40 musicians. Rene continues to promote and book concerts throughout the Los Angeles area.
