Raised by nuns in the forests of Lithuania, Arkitect and Dreams had very little formal musical training or exposure to the modern world. One day, while making a rare trip into town for medical aid, they happened to hear a Larry Heard track playing from a gramophone in the local market and their lives would be changed forever. A few days later, the two ran away to Belgium and immediately were drawn to the devilish sound of the house, techno, and industrial scene. They two lived under the couches and behind the bars of large dance clubs for years before becoming professional DJ’s and forming the occult of Private Selection Records.
