Steering clear from the cliche of South Beach, tacky EDM, and P*tbull, the girls scout the talent all around Miami and uplift it with the hopes of listeners finding their new favorite Miami-Based artists.

Cate works for a renowned Miami nightclub, while Jordie is working on the record label side. This gives these two different perspectives and a drive to work with talented acts. Based had been broadcasting on the University of Miami’s college 90.5FM radio, but once these two graduated, they knew their message had to go national.
