DJJJS was born in San Francisco, raised in LA and has bounced back and forth ever since.  Began DJing decades ago and gave it up and basically became bored with the sameness of music.  A resurrection began with a new approach to sound.  Rather than considering music as a medium demanding attention, it can enhance experience, a distinction similar to viewing art in a gallery or a museum verses what you put on your walls at home.  His show, Void Filler, allows you to converse with friends, read a book, work, play, or hold your attention elsewhere.  Similar to an idle glance or a taste, occasionally your awareness turns to what you are hearing, you find it pleasing, and so structured that you can easily return to what you were consciously doing.
