La Puente’s native son and potter, Desmond, has been playing, collecting and making music for over 20 years. The Belizean-American art historian, professor and chopdawg is interested in tracing the Caribbean’s diverse history and undeniable influences on music worldwide. When he’s not making or teaching pottery, Desmond can be found in the Wageirale neighborhood of Dangriga, Belize, rocking away in a hammock.
