The Witch’s Flight is the quest for a Black feminist sensibility structured in a series of sonic experimentations that center South Africa and the larger African diaspora.

On this month’s episode, Zama is previewing Muntu Maseko’s new single, titled “Isthembubu.”

The song insinuates on a heart being at the crossroad where one is in love with two people and in this case two women. “Isthembu” is Nguni term from South Africa that refers to polygamy. The artist is Muntu Maseko also known as “Sponch Makhekhe,” a multi-genre vocalist and songwriter who blends Afro House, Amapiano and Kwaito.
