For this month’s Stride Breaker Radio episode, I asked my new friends in Berlin to curate and premier the first of their collaborative mix series!

Senseu is a dj duo – kiku & soft squadron – based in Berlin. Both artists are deeply invested in storytelling in their musical practices and they’re both embedded in Berlin’s hybrid-ambient underworld. Every time I’ve heard a mix by kiku specifically, I’ve always been struck by the agility he displays as he switches between vibes. It’s always captivating and original.

This mix is undeniably cool. By that I mean, I was personally floored by the selection and the narrative woven by these two djs. The vibe slips through your fingers like sand in the wind … much how a year flies by soo suddenly… It’s got everything Stride Breaker is about – dubs, wubs, muddy vocals and broken beats. I’m very very very blessed to have the last Stride Breaker of the year be this incredible Shoe Trip mix a la Sensou.
