This month’s episode features special guest, Cousin Mouth.

Cousin Mouth is an LA-based, alternative RnB group lead by songwriter and producer, Alex Burns. His body of workdraws on the many influences from his years making music in Detroit, as well as folk, spiritual, and songwriter traditions he grew up with. His most recent projects focus on love and its grey areas, and, ultimately, the pursuit of life and joy on earth in its current state.

ABOUT THE MIX:
I’ve come to believe that as artists everything we do on this dying planet should be done in a spirit of hope, resilience, and reconstruction. As a result, I’ve found that all artists are inherently futurists. Although we aspire forwhatever we make to be consumed immediately, it oftentakes some time before the collective joys, traumas, and aspirations reflected in the things we create to fully resonate with the current moment. This is a revolutionary and beautiful thing to me. And although I don’t think artists will save the world – I know we make the time we pass in it more joy filled. More directly – shaking your ass is healing. Every song in this mix is a reflection on these beliefs.
