This mix is a collection of songs I’ve been listening to recently and includes sound bites of me scrolling through my social media feed. The purpose of this mix is to spread awareness and share perspectives on the interconnectedness of the genocides happening globally. Please do your own research and get informed.
The liberation of oppressed groups relies heavily on our attention and commitment to action.
For Palestine, Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo. For the world.

The More You Look is a monthly tribute to sonic elements that have inspired Stemi’s artistry. From experimental electronic music to sounds of West Africa, this show aims to explore the interconnectedness of human experience primarily in a black culture context. Each episode includes voice recordings from those within her community in correlation to the theme of each episode. Through these voices and sonic transmissions, The More You Look aims to connect more synapses in the web collective consciousness.
