Middle Pillar Sounds is the spiritual, conscious, and creative hub, supported by listening journeys designed to assist astrological and metaphysical, personal and collective energetic processes. The project was born in London in 2019 from the idea of that ‘sweet spot’, the Middle Pillar according to the Hermetic Principle of Polarity. That centered space to feel aligned with Oneness and our unique experience as humans. Music is the healing force, and how we experience it is the healing alchemy. Oh sweet end of the year, how exhausting you can feel… but also how exciting it is to wrap up and start setting some intentions for 2023! Sagittarius is bringing out the positivity we needed after that intense Eclipse Season. It represents the mutable (so yes, flexible) fire energy between Scorpio and Capricorn, it is the positive one that is not afraid to explore the shadows while shining its bright light and flirting all the way till the end (Sagittarius know what we are talking about). This is the Season to reflect with a positive attitude about what we are meant to embrace before we close this 2022, that has been such a ride to us all. For us as Middle Pillar, we are closing our first year in Dublab and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate it with music and expansion-of-consciousness vibes with a Sagi’s magical twist. Buckle up! This month’s episode is curated by Luca (E2-E8) and Sofia (Middle Pillar Sounds; Mutant Radio Tbilisi). Embark on a free-flowing journey through ambient landscapes, electronica, downtempo, and assorted intercepted transmissions. Sofia and Luca are taking us on an hypnotic journey for two hours of transformative sounds crafted with emotion, passion and a strong sensibility.

Luca (Taurus) is a London-based DJ/radio broadcaster, and label owner (E2-E8). Influenced by transformative and atmospheric sounds, while firmly rooted in techno and house music, his musical taste delves into different nuances of electronica, abstract jazz, afro, and dub. E2-E8 is the monthly show that Luca curates on East London’s radio station, Netil Radio. It showcases all the music he is into, without genre barriers, and features the artists and record players you should hear about.

Sofia (Scorpio) is an Artist & DJ from Argentina currently based in London. Her music career started in 2018 at renowned audiophile venue Brilliant Corners where she was invited to be a resident. Since then she has been collecting records and selecting music for different radios such as NTS, dublab LA, and Mutant Radio, where she is currently hosting a monthly show. The selections deliver by Sofia are always a blend of hypnotic beats and magnetic sounds. Oscillating between ambient, electronic, Industrial, experimental downtempo and trance. An open invitation to connect with music and zone out.

CARD OF THE MONTH: TEMPERANCE
When you picture Sagittarian energies nowadays we often think of a truthtell with a fierce presence, and we tend to forget how it is all linked to a true inner state of balance that these creatures posses. Temperance card is a symbol of that inner wisdom, it is a reminder to be nice to our Sagis for they always mean well, even if the confrontational ways they may have from time to time might seem a bit too conflictive. The conflict usually is never with the messenger, but with the message in itself.
