The LA-via-Minnesota experimental electronic artist has struggled with a speech impediment since the age of five but found reprieve in music production from a harsh world; he dropped out of college to pursue music full-time in 2016 and hasn’t looked back since. Nearly a decade into his career, Shrimpnose has performed across the country with underground heavyweights such as XXYYXX, Purity Ring and TOKiMONSTA, worked with the likes of Holly, Daedelus and Bobby Raps and got recognition from key tastemakers like NPR, Complex, DJ Mag, MixMag and VICE.
