Secret Tape, for us, is an exercise in capturing the sound of the two of us having fun. We aimed to record the spirit of this creative relationship, and remain entirely un-serious. Both of us are nostalgic for the atmosphere of early 90’s-2000’s underground music culture. Discovery on the musician’s side as well as listeners. Novelty and pure expression unencumbered by commercial aspiration.

Since a young age, Lizzy Jane has made it her goal to attack music from all angles. From previously composing music as a vocalist, pianist, and bassist, she has carried her musical knowledge to the electronic scene with a fresh twist.

Lizzy Jane utilizes her eccentric musical taste to accent a passionate pop to the realm of melodic bass and electronic music. She fights to combine the elements of melodic progression, live instrumentation, bass synthesis, and vocal prowess into her music.
