With the wide range of influences shared by our residents and access to the constantly evolving sound of electronic music both on the east coast, every first Thursday, we’re bringing you two hours of straight heat and fire beats. Additionally, our mission is to highlight the creative process of the artists we know and love, so you can know and love them too. This month we’ve got a very special guest in the building! Hailing from New York, MegMan Music is one of the pioneering members of the “Illbient” scene that started in the 90’s underground music community here in NYC. He’s gone on to be a pivotal collaborator alongside Anti Pop Consortium, his own project Byzar and he’s currently serving as an Educator to youth in his hometown. He’s got a lot of knowledge to share, but don’t get it twisted; he brought all sorts of gadgets for an all hardware live beat set so make sure you tune in.

On the resident mix, Nothing_neue brings us some soulful house and uptempo music from the city as well as some groove-heavy Broken Beat tunes from across the pond. Make sure you listen to the very end to catch the song of the month!
