mmarz is a Los Angeles-based music collective founded by Max Salty, Mikayla (a.k.a. Ruling Planet), Ariella (a.k.a. Saffron), Radha, and Zach. We believe a mixtape is a deeply personal statement, and we launched our weekly mix series in early 2019 as a platform for music obsessives to share their idiosyncratic tastes with the world. Our open-format mixes, released each and every Thursday on SoundCloud, highlight all kinds of music from all kinds of people, from ambient techno to Persian funk to mushroom jazz and far beyond.
