Middle Pillar Sounds: Aries Season

04.13.25

Spiritual, conscious, and creative hub supported by listening journeys designed to assist astrological and metaphysical, personal and collective energetic processes. The project was born in London in 2019 from the idea of that ‘sweet spot’, the Middle Pillar according to the Hermetic Principle of Polarity. That centered space to feel aligned with Oneness and our unique experience as humans. Music is the healing force, and how we experience it is the healing alchemy. We mix tarot and astrology to set the tone for each show. We humbly welcome you to this safe space of sound exploration. Enjoy!

Happy new astrological year everybody! Aries season 2025 doesn’t just arrive—it erupts. The Sun crosses the threshold of the zodiac as the Spring Equinox lands on March 20, ushering in not just a new season but a new astrological year. Days later, a solar eclipse in Aries on March 29 crackles with raw potential, pressing us to initiate, to act, to be unflinchingly honest about what must begin—and what must end.

Neptune entering Aries for the first time since 1861 shifts the collective dream toward boldness. Vision is no longer enough—it demands embodiment. But this firestorm of beginnings is met with the echo of retrogrades. Venus retracing her steps through Pisces and Aries asks us to feel deeper before we leap; Mercury retrograde complicates the clarity of direction, turning the impulse inward, back toward soul.

This isn’t a season of thought. It’s a season of instinct, of rewilding the self while reworking the blueprint. Courage is the currency. Let what burns guide you.

Marcos Altgelt (Aries sun) is an architect and furniture designer who co-directs Ries Estudio since 2015.

“I like to think of this mixtape as a brief journey into who I am — adventurous, energetic, spontaneous, and at times, introspective. It moves with a bold, impulsive rhythm, yet leaves space for quieter moments of reflection.”
