Version Sounds
05.16.22

dublab and LACMA are proud to stream the longform version of the soundtrack for the Lee Alexander McQueen exhibit taking place at LACMA from April 29 through October 9, 2022.
This exhibition soundtrack, created by Bárbara Salazar and Alejandro Cohen of dublab, reflects Alexander McQueen’s vast, eclectic, and at times unpredictable musical taste that defined his runway shows.
With each song McQueen selected, he sought to make a statement. Reflecting on this, Bárbara and Alejandro chose songs from a wide repertoire ranging from classica, to post punk, dance, and pop, not only representing the artist’s own choices but also responding to the legacy of his work.
The soundtrack available at the exhibition can be found HERE.
