People’s Portal is a monthly segment hosted by Josephine Shetty, aka Kohinoorgasm, aspiring to bridge the visions of grassroots musicians with those of grassroots activists. Kohinoorgasm exclusively spins the music of experimental, unsigned, non-commercial, underground, and working class musicians, while each show features a conversation between the host and two guest artists/activists.

✧༺mirrored fatality is a nonbinary Kapampangan-Pilipinx and Pakistani-Muslim performance art duo Mango and Samar, sharing their rituals, altars, and medicine through DIT (Do It Together) experimental and healing noise punk. mirrored fatality creates their self-proclaimed “cocoon webs” combining performance art, music, spoken word, graphic design, film, photography, painting, drawing, upcycled garments, anti-imperialist education, and healing justice practice spaces; mobilizing and bridging a transnational warrior community who responds urgently to transnational calls-to-action between Turtle Island, Kashmir, and Mindanao. ༓☾༄

The Uhuruverse is the musical and performance art project of Uhuru Moor. Uhuru is a celebrated artist who spent the majority of the past decade in Los Angeles, now located in New Orleans. Uhuru is the Co-Founder, guitar player, and singer of Fuck U Pay Us and is Founder of the “POST-APOCALYPTIC, AFROFUTURISTIC, QUEER LIBERATIONIST ARTIST COLLECTIVE” #SNATCHPOWER. Uhuru has directed, produced and starred in independent films, including “Fight in Heels” and “Channeling Calafia”. Uhuru has released six full length albums and ten music videos as The Uhuruverse. They also organize countless shows and events for their community and are a frequent speaking artist around the country.
