Mattaniah Aytenfsu is a new media artist and engineer from the Bay Area, now based in New York. Using software as her primary medium, Mattaniah creates artifacts and experiences that explore the humanistic and expressive potential of computation. Her practice spans across design, science and culture.

The show is recorded in the NEW INC office, reimagined as a vessel for dissecting the intersectionality of art, design, and technology through individual conversations.

The series’ jingle is the work of composer and sound artist Etienne Mason, known professionally as MAYSUN. MAYSUN, recognized for his unique fusion of drumming and immersive soundscapes, has crafted a piece that features a sampled string riff from the Uyghur Sataer, ساتار. This riff was recorded by Gulnihal during her recent visit to Kashgar, China.
