Entropy Sessions
12.07.00

One of the earliest episodes of Entropy Sessions by the man himself, the Webern of the warehouse, the dandy of dublab — Daedelus.
Before producing 2002’s indie rap milestone The Weather and releasing solo work on Plug Research, LA’s Alfred Darlington aka Daedelus was one of dublab’s very first and most original DJs. In many ways, he still is. As prolific a curator on Entropy Sessions as he is a musical creator, Alfred and his tastes remain on the bleeding edge. On this early Session, he offers up a blend of wanderlust, headphone-friendly electronic selections and booming drum ‘n’ bass and jungle cuts before bringing things to a long crescendo of noisy, cacophonous breakbeats. It’s real.
Features tracks (and live remixes of tracks) by Buffalo Daughter, Remarc, Nobukazu Takemura, Phthalocyanine, Deltron 3030, Twisted Anger, Bug Nyne, µ-Ziq, Rotator Kids and many more.
FROM THE VAULTS is an ongoing curation project produced by Ben Sinclair, resurfacing rare live performances and DJ sets recorded during dublab’s first ten years.
