The great folks at LA’s Dub Club have an unshakable habit of bringing super talents to town. Recently they brought legendary selector Tony Screw aka Downbeat the Ruler to the club for a historic explosion. While in town they cruised down to dublab for a live session.

Some background: Downbeat Sound sparked up in the seventies in New York City and has been at the forefront of heavy sounds since. One luminary who launched from this posse was longtime hero of the dance Shinehead. Shinehead joined his mentor Tony Screw and the Downbeat Sound djs in the dublab studio for an incredible session of echoes, bass and microphone magic. After they left he continued to rock steady and rough for many hours more.
