GREEN ROOM PARA TODXS takes you on a deep sonic trip that not only emphasizes hosts’ Dave Nada and Marimarre’s collective French / Latin American backgrounds, but try to bridge and highlight the communities that make dancefloors (and greenrooms) a fiecer place all across the world.
In celebration of Dave’s return to the states, he cooked up a brand new DJ mix reflecting all of his current favorite French/LatAm leaning club music, ranging from peak time 150bpm belters and footwork, to speed dembow and moombah influenced Polynesian ori deck, to heavy percussive techno groovers, and mind-bending dub and deep Palestinian, Andean ambient folk. whooo! Strictly for the restless dancefloor all nighters and chill-room decompressors alike.
French sidenote: There’s a very special wave that’s been brewing in France’s club scene for a bit now. It’s fast, percussive, clever, sonically dialed-in but more importantly funky, heavily uplifting and defies all boundaries of conventional club music. There’s exciting sounds like Sylvere’s Bouyon/160bpm heartfelt techno, Egregore Collective’s dubby club approach, and Amor Satyr & Siu Mata’s addictively playful speed dembow.
