On today’s edition of the show, Darone invites Jannis Stürtz of Habibi Funk for for the guest mix segment of today’s show. Jannis is the head of Habibi Funk and the Co- Founder of Jakarta Records, based in Berlin. With Habibi Funk, Jannis focuses on unearthing lost sounds and recordings of the forgotten Middle Eastern and North African regions from the 1960s, into the 1980s. With Jakarta Records, Jannis focuses on releasing contemporary soul, hip hop, electronic, and beyond.
