Our favorite energy elixir in human form, Dan Deacon, returned to the dublab studio to stir up some sonic togetherness for the wide world of born ready listeners. In this special session he shared a suite of new tunes, including sounds from his original score for Francis Ford Coppola’s film “Twixt” and a few wondrously wild remixes. Dan then waved his magnetized wand to bring together the collective smart phone buzz fuzz found on vinepeek.com. He processed the random data flow through a series of finesse laptop moves that formed a beautiful sonic amalgam of these tiny viney video moments. Somewhere during the session we chomped a few cookies and burritos and washed it all down with some Marley’s Mellow Mood.
