For the first episode of trans.mission, our guest is DJ Brigida.

Brigida is a DJ and rave thrower from Narrm (Melbourne) who has been banging Breakbeat, Grime and Hard Rave songs against each other since first organising warehouse and storm drain parties with the Vapor Noir collective in 2016. She’s supported and presented Grime legends like Slimzee and Sir Spyro, and regularly plays Queer and off-kilter parties at home and further afield, recently striking a career highlight at Supernormal fest in the UK, lactating on the faces of the crowd while dropping her closers. She continues to organise raves centring Queer and Trans artists with the rechristened Vapor Nein collective, and recently joined Narrm Gabber and Donk crew the Flashback Rave Committee. She is currently working obsessively on an EP of hard rave remixes of Chumbawamba songs, for confusing reasons.
