Canary Sound Werk (CSW) is a monthly radio extension of the diverse sounds and shows emanating from Canary’s headquarters in the heart of Los Angeles’s fashion district.

Canary alternates between focusing on conceptual art exhibitions, community focused raves, free Thursday dancefloors, and weekend kick backs with the mission of giving artists, DJs, and promoters a consistent platform to experiment, hone their sound, and grow their creative practice.

We linked up with our neighboring radio hosts, Xen Model, for a CSW x Upload 4 hour XXL session!!! Featuring our out of town special guests from Berlin as they cut it up with our LA residents.

On Friday 11/1, Ben Bondy laid down an angelic dubbed out live set followed by a melter of a bass set with a beautiful crescendo by Special Guest DJ [3XL] to close out the night.

JS [Motion Ward] is a recurring favorite of Canary, hosted his first Motion Ward party recently, and runs one of LA’s favorite cutty labels.

Xen Model has been rocking dancefloor pumping tripped out live sets with us and produced the inaugural EP for our CSW label.

We were so pleased to have everyone on the decks, broadcasting everything from ambient bliss to proper wubs and more…
